In this Open House tour, join Jeremy Stein a look around 34 West 12th Street: impeccably restored 1860s Italianate townhouse located on one of the most picturesque blocks in the heart of Greenwich Village. This stunning six-story NYC residence spans approximately 7,300 square feet, with an additional 2,000 square feet of private outdoor space, offering a rare combination of historic charm and modern luxury in one of Manhattan’s most desirable neighborhoods. As you step through the grand arched entry, you’re greeted by a formal parlor floor with 11.5-foot ceilings, custom brass and walnut built-ins, a marble fireplace, and elegant picture moldings that pay homage to classic New York style. Floor-to-ceiling French doors open to beautifully landscaped tiered terraces that feel like a hidden garden oasis—perfect for entertaining or unwinding in the heart of the city. The chef’s kitchen is a true showstopper, featuring Rachia Capria marble, fluted glass cabinetry, Latalia Perry brass fixtures, and top-of-the-line appliances. It's not only a culinary haven but also a warm gathering space that opens directly to the outdoor garden. Upstairs, you’ll find five ensuite bedrooms, each with its own personality, and a tranquil primary suite that includes chevron-patterned Spanish white oak floors, a cinematic mirrored closet, and a spa-like bathroom with a soaking tub, double vanity, and Waterworks fixtures. To top it all off—literally—this home boasts a fully landscaped roof terrace, offering panoramic views and a setting that rivals the Hamptons for summer entertaining. Every inch of this townhouse has been thoughtfully renovated over a meticulous three-year process, blending timeless elegance with modern comfort.
